"'I Win' is fun. It feels good to me, captures the honeymoon stage and lets me keep a little beguiling energy, while experimenting with being a bit more vulnerable,” says Masego. “I Win” follows Masego’s recent releases “Unhinged” and “Spin The Block.” The latter was recently selected as one of The FADER’s “Songs You Need In Your Life,” praised for its “funk-laced” production. Masego continues his run of standalone singes, reinforcing his distinct approach to modern R&B.
