NEWCOMER TIMMY SKELLY SHARES
SOPHOMORE SINGLE “BRECKENRIDGE LANE”
VIA LIVE2 RECORDS HERE

Today Sandwich, Illinois’ finest Timmy Skelly steps further into the spotlight with the release of his sophomore single “Breckenridge Lane”, after his electric debut “Come On Diana” last month, both via Live2 Records (Noah Floersch, Em Beihold, Pertinence). The cinematic opus music video was co-directed by Timmy Skelly and McClain Portis of the creative house Live2 in Timmy’s hometown and can be seen here. The video is both a purview into Timmy’s world as well as an homage to small town life everywhere.

Dive bar bartender by day, singer-songwriter by night, the LA transplant Skelly collaborated with Noah Ehler (d4vd, Laufey, Hailey Knox) on “Breckenridge Lane”. The song builds upon his epic collaboration on “Come on Diana” with James Flannigan (Matt Maeson, Carly Rae Jepsen, Kodaline, etc) manifesting his dream girl out on the open road, over infectious Grouplove melodies and sun-soaked midwest Americana guitars.

About “Breckenridge Lane”, Timmy says: "I spent my most formative years in a small town in Illinois. This song is a tribute to that town and the people in it. I wanted to capture the yellow haze of rural summer drives, the butterflies in your stomach feeling of taking risks for a midnight kiss, sneaking beers into the tackle box and smelling like a fire pit for weeks. Breckenridge Lane is a journey meant to imbue the listener with nostalgia. We sincerely hope you enjoy the ride."

Timmy elaborates about “Diana”: “This is a windows down, arms outstretched, highway song and we hope it makes you feel as alive as we did while writing it."
