Sydney duo Royel Otis are today releasing two bonus tracks from their debut album PRATTS & PAIN - the fizzy Claw Foot” and giddy “Merry Mary Marry Me - available now via OURNESS.

Claw Foot” is a strength in numbers chorus and call to face life’s obstacles head on - to stop procrastinating and giving into every wish and whim along the way. The band tell us "Facing the obstacles head-on and trying not to procrastinate. Not giving into your wishes." Meanwhile the grunge-tuned sway of “Merry Mary Marry Me” is an introspective anthem that comments on watching everyone around you settling down with their lives, and feeling like you're falling behind because that reality feels so far out of reach.

Currently, Royel Otis are in the United States for their debut sold out tour between capital cities until May 2024, before landing in Barcelona for Primavera Festival and Porto for NOS Primavera Sound. Newly announced, the pair will continue to tour the UK in July for a massive tour as well as several major European festivals. They return to the US in October for another headline run with several cities already sold out and more dates being added. You can see all dates below. Royel Otis will round out the year with another European and UK tour through December.

Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Dan Carey (Wet Leg), PRATTS & PAIN is the first jewel in the crown for Otis Pavlovic and Royel Maddell. The album debuted at #1 on the ARIA Australian Albums Chart and the hit #1 Most Played Artist at US college radio across music specialty shows. Handbraking towards psychedelic weirdness and dissonant noise, Royel Otis have no issue keeping all who listen on their toes. The duo hard launched into 2024 with a viral cover of Sophie Ellis-Bexter’s “Murder on the Dancefloor” for triple j’s Like A Version. The track has achieved Gold certification after peaking at #2 on ARIA’s Top 20 Australian Singles, and has since reached #9 on the US Billboard Alternative Airplay Chart and #6 on the Mediabase Chart. The band’s 2022 single “Oysters In My Pocket” has also now received Gold accreditation.

From cleaning up ‘Ones to Watch’ lists by the likes of GRAMMY, Matt Wilkinson at Apple Music 1, NME and the Daily Telegraph, to gaining fans in Zane Lowe and BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders and being featured in Vogue and GQ, Royel Otis have proudly amassed over 198 million streams to date across their expanding catalog.

The band’s 2023 EP Sofa King was quick to receive international and local press adoration from Paper Mag, Purple Sneakers, NME, plus consistent airplay from international stations such as BBC Radio 1 and Apple Music 1. The titular track, "Sofa King" peaked at #25 on the Billboard US Alternative radio charts, while on home soil, saw the duo hold the status of triple j’s #1 Most Played track, and closing out the year as the #8 Most Played Artist on the station.
