TALOULA excludes passion across her funk-infused offering "M3TAMORPHIN'"

East-London-based artist and creative Taloula deliver her addictive jazz cut “M3TAMORPHIN’” – via Bamboo Recordings.

Gliding atop enriched funk chords and syncopated R&B percussion, Taloula’s grippingly unique vocal range takes centre stage across this playful psychedelic cut. Laced with vintage undertones curated alongside Alessandro Ionna and acclaimed artist Caleb Kunle, “M3TAMORPHIN’” instantly blossoms into a space of 80s nostalgia, boasting eclectic soundwaves co-produced through her old Yamaha PSR 7 keyboard and drum machine as the vocalist flexes her stunning harmonies with typical elegance. She gleefully envisions her childhood through vibrant silhouettes, empowering imagination while inspiring a new wave of free thinkers to explore the wonders of existence through expression - “I wanted to offer the listeners a view through the window of childhood imagination and a carefree spirit.”

With Yemeni heritage and born in Israel, Taloula moved to Paris at an early age –where she would announce her entrance into the music world as the French pop star TAL, amassing over 100M streams before shifting her direction on a more authentic, true-to-self sound. Having moved to London, Taloula’s sun-kissed musicality is a product of her creative environment. Developing an exciting upward trajectory since her debut EP The Evolution Of Taloula, the multi-hyphenate talent followed up with her funk-infused cut “DANGER” earlier this year – quickly gaining critical attention from the likes of COLORSXSTUDIOS, WONDERLAND, MIXTAPE MADNESS, ONES TO WATCH and London underground staple BALAMII. She also received a significant co-sign from France’s largest YouTube export, Seb La Frite (5M subscribers and counting) who recently praised her clear courage and determination to fully flourish in her new sound and aesthetic – further establishing her as one of the most exciting talents crashing into wider consciousness.

Ahead of her highly-anticipated debut album set to release this year, Taloula feels like an important new voice embodying enlightenment across the London landscape – get ready to hear a whole lot more from this rising star in the making.
