 Queer synth meets electro-pop artist and two-time Emmy nominee John Roberts, famously known for his role as the mom "Linda Belcher" in the iconic animated comedy series "Bob's Burgers" Produced by Junior Sanchez (Katy Perry, Felix Da Housecat), "Nothin for Something" is a thrilling glam rock meets synth-pop banger and an unapologetic break-up anthem. He confides, "I wanted to write a song about this a**hole ex-boyfriend of mine who was toxic. It's an empowerment song. The 80's inspired guitar solo by Fuzz Sangiovanni is also incredible, and Junior Sanchez slayed the production." Cody Critcheloe directs the music video (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), a theatrical and cinematic transformation that seamlessly blends the dramatic with the surreal.

John Roberts, widely recognized as the multi-talented voice behind Linda Belcher on the Emmy award-winning "Bob's Burgers," which landed him his first EMMY nod in the category of “Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance,” has also captivated audiences with his music and transcended the animated world. John’s first release of 2023 was a return to pop with his single “Danger,” a moody mid-tempo 80’s throwback produced by legendary DJ Junior Sanchez, offering an exciting musical landscape filled with pulsating sounds and throbbing rhythm as well as Roberts's soaring vocals. “Danger” reached 38 on the MEDIABASE chart and was accompanied by an award-winning music video. John’s new single, "Nothin for Something," is a timeless breakup jam accompanied by a vintage-inspired moody black and white video directed by Cody Critcheloe (Yeah Yeah Yeahs).
