Regarding this powerhouse collaboration, QUINN commented, "I’ve been a fan of NOTD for a while so I’m honored to be a part of ‘Less I Know’. When the guys sent me this song, it really resonated, and we had the opportunity to work on it while they were in LA and really bring it to life. I’m excited for everyone to hear it.”
The EP also includes previously released collaborations with The Band Camino, Nightly, Kenzie, Kiiara, and Hastings. Referencing the scope and vision of the project, Sam and Tobi aka NOTD said, "This EP is very special to us. Until now, we’ve released only singles, so to be able to put out a project like this feels surreal and to be honest it's also a bit scary. Being stuck at home these past few years because of covid gave us the time to experiment with new sounds and see how we could implement them in our music. We're both such big fans of rock/alternative/indie music, so you’re going to hear some of those influences in these new songs. We are so thankful we got to collaborate with such amazing artists and songwriters to bring it to life, and we're so proud of how it turned out."
ABOUT NOTD:
Having eclipsed 1.5 Billion streams on Spotify alone and 3 Billion streams on all platforms, NOTD have continued their rollout of successful single releases. The global hit “I Don’t Know Why” with Astrid S kicked off this run, amassing over 150 million streams to date. They then teamed up with Nina Nesbitt for “Cry Dancing” and later Catello for the 2020 single “Nobody”. The latter has already amassed nearly 100 million total streams and counting in addition to spending five weeks at the #1 spot on the Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay Chart. Dancing Astronaut attested, “NOTD remain hot on the campaign trail for household name status,” and One EDM raved, “The Fusion of old-school nocturnal pop and future house influence sets this track apart.”
In 2019, NOTD had the most played track on US Dance Radio with the RIAA platinum-selling “So Close” featuring Georgia Ku and reached platinum status in the U.S. on their 2018 smash, “I Wanna Know” [feat. Bea Miller]. “So Close” was also nominated for Dance Song of the Year at the 2020 iHeart Music Awards and recently was certified platinum in the U.S.
ABOUT KIIARA:
With more than 1.4 billion worldwide streams and counting, Kiiara has already affirmed herself as a contemporary pop marvel, synthesizing anthemic songcraft with a kinetic, genre-blurring sound and laser-guided creative vision. The Chicago, IL-based singer-songwriter first dropped “Gold” upon an unsuspecting world in the summer of 2015, earning instant attention for her trademark vocal sampling and gift for indelible hooks. The track proved a global sensation, earning 3x RIAA platinum certification – and over 700 million worldwide streams – en route to the top 5 on Billboard’s “Pop Songs” and the top 15 on the overall “Hot 100.”
