NOTD and Kenzie? Yes Please! Hear Worst Things with us
(May 13, 2022 – New York, NY) – Swedish multi-platinum artist / producer duo NOTD unveil a new single titled “Worst Thing” (feat. Kenzie) today via Island Records. The track perfectly integrates pop, electronic music, and just the right amount of rock swagger as high energy guitars glide across a danceable beat. This momentum collides with Kenzie’s unshakable and undeniable hook as she asks, “Would it be the worst thing if your car wouldn’t start and we had to fog up the windows when it gets dark just to keep us warm?”. The accompanying music video brings this vibe to life on screen. Kenzie and NOTD take over an apartment party shot through a grainy nostalgic filter with nineties fashion on point.
Regarding “Worst Thing,” NOTD said, “We did a zoom call with Kenzie in the midst of the pandemic and immediately connected. We wanted to find the right song to collab on together, and Worst Thing was the one. We've loved this song since day one, and Kenzie really killed it!!”
Kenzie added, “NOTD are the most genuine and funny boys I've ever met. It was such an amazing time working with them.”
The new single marks NOTD’s second release of the year, following “about you” (feat. Nightly,) which earned critical acclaim. Atwood Magazine observed, “In bringing all that makes NOTD together, they do not just integrate sounds in the current wave of EDM, but influences from all over. This includes an affinity for rock and alt pop.” Variance hailed it as “spellbinding,” and Indie Music Spin christened it “an irresistible Dance Pop Single.”
Alongside the DSP release of "about you" NOTD also dropped their genesis NFT collection – 69 ‘about you’ music NFTs – on the rapidly growing platform, Sound.xyz. The collection sold out immediately and trading volume has exceeded $50,000. A similar collection of ‘Worst Thing’ music NFTs will drop on Monday, May 16, 2022 on Sound.xyz.

At just 17 years old, Kenzie Ziegler has become one of the most influential rising stars of Generation Z. She has made a splash in the entertainment industry garnering a massive social media presence of over 35 million followers across several platforms, and her music videos have collectively received over 200 million views. In August 2019, she was nominated for a Teen Choice Award in the category of “Choice Fashion/Beauty Web Star,” and the previous year she won a Teen Choice Award for “Choice Muser.” As a singer and songwriter, Kenzie released her latest holiday single “COZY WITH ME (feat.
