Today, trailblazing artist, Ken Carson releases the deluxe edition of his groundbreaking album, A Great Chaos. Following the massive success of the original release, Carson's fans can now immerse themselves in an expanded experience with seven new tracks, including the highly acclaimed "overseas." "overseas," which debuted in April, made waves by amassing over three million global streams on Spotify and Apple Music within the first twenty-four hours, marking his biggest streaming debut ever. Its impact continued as he made his first appearance debuting on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. A Great Chaos garnered success due to its innovative sound and Ken Carson's distinctive style. With bold lyrics and experimental production, both the original tracklist and the deluxe edition are bound to make a significant impact. This edition delves deeper into the voice of an artist whose raw irreplicable energy exemplifies his fearless approach to the craft. Hailed as “genuinely cool, risky, and relentless” by Pitchfork, A Great Chaos debuted impressively at No. 11 on the Billboard 200. It also won acclaim from industry giants like The New York Times, Billboard, Rolling Stone and Complex, was placed on several “Best Of 2023” lists, and earned praise from icons such as Jay Z, Drake, J. Cole, Red Hot Chill Pepper’s, Anthony Kiedis, and more. Notably, tracks like "Fighting My Demons" have achieved gold status certification by the RIAA, marking Ken's third such milestone after previous successes with "Yale" from his 2020 EP Teen X and "Freestyle 2" from his 2022 album X.
This year Ken also made his debut Coachella performance, joined the iconic Red Hot Chili Peppers on their “Unlimited Love” tour, and most recently, made a huge splash at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash Festival. There, he not only delivered a memorable solo set but also joined the rest of Opium signees on stage with Playboi Carti for the first time. Next week, Ken Carson is set to embark on his expansive headline tour, “The Chaos World Tour,” starting July 8th at Warehouse at CFF in Orlando, FL. The North American leg will feature standout shows at Los Angeles’ Shrine Expo Hall on July 20-21, a three-night stint at Terminal 5 in New York City from August 20-22, and a hometown performance at the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta on August 26.
