Liv Miraldi: From Songwriter to Sensation - Unveiling Mental Health Through 'Teeth'

The Ohio native who now lives in LA, is known for her viral songs “Wingwoman” and “Same People” as well as her work as a prolific songwriting working with the likes of Tinashe, Mod Sun, Lauren Spencer Smith, Natalie Jane, Johnny Orlando, Charlotte Sands, GAYLE,  Arden Jones, VINCINT, and more. On her release, the songwriter confides, “Teeth” is a cautionary tale about how things can look perfect from the outside, but you never truly know what’s going on in someone’s personal life. I was at my lowest during this time, grappling with profound heartbreak, loss, and depression; but, from social media all you would see is that I’d signed a publishing deal, moved to LA, and was living ‘the dream.’ When I look back on this season, the only noticeable sign that I was struggling was that I had stopped smiling with my teeth."

Liv Miraldi is an LA based songwriter, specializing in lyrics and concept. She excels working with artists, helping them find their sound and telling their story. However, using TikTok to place uncut songs, she fell into artistry and has amassed over 50,000 followers and millions of views. She released ‘Wingwoman’ with KOLE and ‘Same People’ last year landing her on Spotifys New Music Friday, NY Pop, and Young, Wild & Free among others and her single 'Denver' further received support from the likes of Spotify's New Music Friday, Next Gen Singer-Songwriters, and Created by Women. Her latest single "Teeth" is an important and poignant look at mental health struggles. Liv confides, "the song is a cautionary tale about how things can look perfect from the outside, but you never truly know what’s going on in someone’s personal life.
