“Old school but new school… a cool amalgamation of cultures and sounds. It was cool then and I love that it’s happening again now.”

- NPR Music

Los Angeles, CA (February 11, 2025) — Central to The Altons’ sound is the deeply harmonious interplay between the vocals of front-persons Adriana Flores and Bryan Ponce, which imbues their music with an intimate and sincere quality. The East LA outfit will release Heartache in Room 14 this Friday, February 14, their debut LP via Daptone Records — a duet album inspired by the Motown and Stax eras with a cultural lens of a group born and raised in Los Angeles.

Today the Altons released “Where Did She Go,” a heartfelt ballad about memory and how fickle it can be. Flores wrote the final single from the album about her mother and the heartache that comes with watching your parents grow older.

Where Did She Go” follows the gorgeous "Your Light", the romantic bolero “Del Cielo te Cuido” which translates to "I'll take care of you from heaven", the vulnerable Heartache in Room 14 opener “Waiting”, the soulful "Float," the sensual "Tangled Up In You," and the slow-burn anthem "Over and Over."

The Altons will host a Bandcamp listening party tomorrow February 12 at 6:30pm PT. The band will chat online with fans who will get a first listen to the upcoming album two days before release. You can RSVP and find more info HERE.

Starting next week the ‘Club Heartache Tour’ will cross the country, hitting Seattle, and Portland, two SOLD OUT nights at The Belasco Theater in LA, DC, Chicago, NYC, and Philadelphia, multiple festival performances including Bonnaroo, and more before ending with two nights in Dallas. The Altons will perform in-store at Amoeba Hollywood on Thursday, February 18 at 5pm before heading out and then up the coast at Amoeba San Francisco on Monday, February 24 at 5pm.
