27th September 2024 - SAYITAGAIN, a London based duo whose music laces Pop, Rock and Alternative elements into one seamless, infectious sonic, have unveiled their debut single, “Simple”. Developing their sound over the course of 2 years, SAYITAGAIN are on a mission to solidify their bubbling status.
“Simple” is a love song consoling a romantic partner navigating a troubling time, “Life feels like a movie when I look in your eyes / I wish that you could see through mine / Maybe we could turn back time / Isn’t anything ever as simple as / Why can’t we kick it like it’s ‘79”, Matt [vocals] sings. Building into a climatic chorus that’s enriched with a roaring electric guitar, SAYITAGAIN have crafted an empowering anthem for those who may feel as though the world is against them. Emphasising their lyrical ability by creating a song that resonates with all cultures and ages, “Simple” is a strong debut from the trailblazing duo.
When asked about the meaning behind the single SAYITAGAIN explained, “Simple is about loving and supporting someone who struggles with their mental health. It’s about seeing the beauty in everything they do, that they can’t see themselves. With relationships in which one person struggles internally, it can be easy to feel like a burden, but sometimes all it takes is a little reassurance from your person to give you peace of mind that you’re doing ok."
Blending upbeat pop energy with raw rock grit, SAYITAGAIN delivers music that hits the sweet spot between high-energy anthems and heartfelt melodies. Building towards their debut EP set for release next year, SAYITAGAIN, made up of Matt East [vocals] and Callum Irons [guitar] aren’t new to the music industry. The seasoned professionals were originally part of SHADED, an acclaimed trio that accumulated millions of streams across DSP’s who toured the UK and EU numerous times. Entering a new creative era, the duo started posting teasers on TikTok and Instagram during the summer and have built up a combined following of over 10,000 people prior to releasing any music. Striking a resonant chord with listeners and forging a connection that transcends conventional boundaries, the pair have been lending their unrivalled production and lyrical talent with other artists from the UK, US and Europe.
