“I want my fans to dance and vibe to 'Level Up' morning and night, just like I do,” Yasmina shares about the track. “I want them to go crazy for the song, to relate to it, and to feel like they’re singing it for that toxic person in their life. It’s all about stepping into that ‘main character energy,’ owning the moment, and feeling empowered as they let go of negativity.”
Supporting Yasmina as she explores a new sound, the single was mastered by GRAMMY-winning engineer Dave Kutch (Alicia Keys, Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, Justin Timberlake) and co-written by David Jassy (Ashley Tisdale, Heidi Montag, Darin) and Moh Denebi (Loreen, Molly Sandén, Lara Fabian) who also produced the track. While “Level Up” is about letting go of unhealthy relationship dynamics, Yasmina’s debut single “Habibi (My Baby),” which landed on TIDAL’s ‘New Arrivals: Pop’ editorial playlist upon its release, explores the complexities of navigating heartbreak and emotional challenges of leaving a hostile partner.
