#live Almost Monday at the el club

See this content in the original post

The cold never bothered me anyway; it was the theme for some who bear the windy-frosty temperature. Some not only waited for hours but also traveled the distance to see Almost Monday at the El Club last night. From Ohio to Colorado, fans flock to the small club to get a chance to be close and intimate with the group. Off from their recent tour with The Driver Era (We caught up with them on that tour, which you can find here} Now, on their own, they are taking the streets for themselves and turning into a parade of excitement. Almost Monday wasn’t alone on this tour; Doublecamp was there, giving the fans enough energy to warm up their dancing skills.

The night started with Broken People right into the tour name Only Wanna Dance. The crowd couldn’t stop dancing and singing along. There was one point of the show, generally a low moment, which became an interactive experience. During the end of You Look So Good, the snare drum tore and needed a replacement, which made Dawson a perfect target for fan photos and BeReal moments. Even a Be Mine Valentine plushie was tossed into the crowd. The amount of “Birthdays:” was also highlighted after Dawson noticed a few crowns In the crowd. By the time the snare was fixed, the birthday song had ended, and they were back to playing everyone’s favorite. You can’t have a great show without a cover; of all the choices, Almost Monday could have picked What I Like About You as an instant crowd favorite.

The night made many friends and memories, a fun night for anyone who wants a break from the winter weather. They have a few more spots, as this is only the beginning of their tour.

MORE ABOUT ALMOST MONDAY.

Almost Monday, first emerging in 2020, has racked up more than 100 million overall streams, uplifting audiences everywhere. Originally from San Diego, the group crafted their 2020 debut EP don’t say you’re ordinary in Brooklyn and Los Angeles with producers Mark Needham (The Killers, Fleetwood Mac) and Simon Oscroft (The Naked and Famous, DREAMERS). It ignited a string of buzzing anthems, beginning with “parking lot view,” “come on come on,” and “broken people,” which cracked the Top 20 at Alternative Radio.

Along the way, they’ve attracted a growing fan base through a combination of danceable rhythms and uplifting hooks. In 2021, they set the stage for their second EP til the end of time with “live forever,” receiving praise from Alternative Press, Forbes, People, GQ Australia, Earmilk, Flaunt, Ones To Watch, and more. The band followed it with a new single, “cool enough," made their festival debut at Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, BottleRock, and Firefly, and graced stages with Kings of Leon, Dayglow, Walk The Moon, and Joywave. They recently wrapped up a tour in South America with The Driver Era and played Governor's Ball. They will play WonderBus and Wonderfront this year.
