Following the release of USA, his new, critically acclaimed album, Petey is launching a 2023 headline tour tonight at Atlanta’s Terminal West. The first leg of the North American run will include two New York City shows – Irving Plaza on November 9 and Warsaw on November 10 – and wrap up at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on December 6. North Americans will open on all 2023 dates. Tickets are available at https://peteyswebsite.com/. Petey will kick off the second leg of the tour on February 20, 2024. See below for itinerary.

Hailing USA as “one of the most stirring rock releases of the year,” Paste observed, “Petey has cemented himself as a powerful presence in contemporary rock ‘n’ roll.” Read the Paste interview with Petey HERE. “USA feels like the sonic embodiment of coming-of-rage, grieving a life that’s still being lived through the lens of midwest emo fusions,” said Ones To Watch. “Petey closes out this expansive piece of art, just as it started—fully intentional and genuine in every musical and storytelling aspect.”

Recorded mainly at Gold-Diggers Sound in Los Angeles with co-producers John DeBold (Wallows, Remi Wolf) and Aidan Spiro, USA is the follow-up to Lean Into Life, his 2021 debut album. “Working with John and Aidan allowed me to be reckless and experimental while giving each song the care it deserved,” says Petey, who plays guitar, bass, drums, and synth on USA. “It helped me fulfill the only real goal I had for the album, which was to make sure every single song would be super-fun to play live.” Listen to USA HERE.

Petey’s passion for performing is clear in his recent Vevo DSCVR session. Watch him perform “Did I Mention I’m Sorry” HERE and “The Freedom to Fuck Off” HERE.

Recently named as a Billboard One To Watch artist, the Detroit-born, Chicago-bred, L.A. based singer-songwriter has been praised by The New Yorker for his “earnest songs and absurd TikToks.” Alternative Press noted, “Petey has cracked the algorithmic code by creating his own world of cathartic abstract art guided by self-confidence, kismet, and above, all, good vibes.”
