Augustine's nostalgic indie pop has taken him from sold-out gigs in Scandinavia and Europe to festival stages like Way Out West and SXSW in Austin, Texas. His music has found its way into the offices of Billboard, Rolling Stone Magazine, the radio station KCRW, and influential music blogs like EARMILK and Ones To Watch. Not to mention the two Grammy nominations he received for his debut album, "Weeks Above The Earth."

With an exciting momentum behind him and a hungry audience, Augustine now releases "Youth And Why It Ends." On his new album, he reflects on youth slipping away and the dread of the responsible adult life that awaits.

"This album is about youth being over and how painful it is, haha. Suddenly, there's so much responsibility, and I can't really blame anything on youthful recklessness anymore. Everything weighs a bit heavier with each passing year, and I'm probably right in the middle of some kind of transition. Does anyone ever fully become an adult, and if so, when?" says Augustine.

Musically, Augustine and his companion Rassmus Björnson wanted to challenge themselves more on the follow-up. The new album features grand string arrangements, plenty of California lo-fi guitars, and a more retrospective sound than before.
