Prolific metalcore progressives, ERRA have announced that they will release an instrumental version of their latest S/T album which was released to overwhelming acclaim earlier this year via UNFD. In addition, the band will also release a tab book through Sheet Happens Music Publishing. ERRA’s Jesse Cash says, “The record is an incredibly dense instrumental journey, so we’re excited for those of you music nerds out there to be able to listen closely and pick out all the layers. It’s a way to experience the record in a different light, and we think you’ll hear some new things that hopefully broaden your appreciation for the record. And for all you nerds who play guitar and want to pick up the tab book, you’ll have an easier time doing so with the instrumental as your reference guide.” Both are available now.

ERRA’s massive U.S. tour with August Burns Red kicked off last night in Philadelphia. This run is their first shows since before the pandemic and the band is thrilled to be back on the road, performing songs from ERRA live for the first time ever. Highlights include NYC’s Webster Hall, Furnace Fest, Texas, Chicago, LA’s Belasco Theatre and everywhere in between, coast to coast. For a full list of dates or tickets, see below. ERRA’s epic S/T album released back in March grounded them as one the genre’s most prominent forces. ERRA’s massive riffs and enchanting melodies litter the cerebral, immersive soundscapes which culminate a career-defining effort. Determination and steadfast dedication have defined ERRA’s path, forging a unique connection with an ever-growing audience, without the advantages of traditional recognition.

On their career-defining fifth studio album ERRA, the band confront depression, anxiety and desperation throughout. They take listeners on a near-out-of-body journey to Aokigahara, the infamous Suicide Forest of Japan; into episodic storytelling that would make Black Mirror writers proud; and into the literary works of Cormac McCarthy and Hubert Selby Jr. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland, it’s a definitive mission statement for guitarist Jesse Cash, vocalist J.T. Cavey, drummer Alex Ballew, bassist Conor Hesse, and guitarist Sean Price, each of them already well-respected players revered for their inspiring technicality and raw, natural talent.
