#goodnews Dates on when Mo Pop Music Festival return are here
A Message from Mo Pop Music Festival
It’s hard to write this again almost a year later, but 2021 is still too soon for a safe return of the Mo Pop Festival that unites us. As much as we want it to happen, after exhaustive efforts to deliver the event you’ve come to love -- and many conversations with both artists and local officials -- we feel that it is best to focus on the future.
Mark your calendars for July 30 & 31, 2022, when we can all safely gather at our new location at the Historic Fort Wayne. We can’t wait to see the Mo Pop community come together on a sunny day by the Detroit riverfront. For those still holding onto passes, you will be receiving an email in the coming days regarding the process for exchanges or refunds.
Till then, take care of one another and keep your heads high. We will come out of this.
Love you all
Mo Pop Festival

Want to revisit the past?
Let’s take it back to 2019, our first time covering Mo Pop Music Festival. From trying their coffee and beer, to meeting all of you at the festival grounds. 2019 really was a major heart attack on all of us. Remember when Lizzo brought the house down? Or camping out for Vampire Weekend? Or when you tried that popsicle from Deep Eddy? Or that guy in the trash can crowd surfing during the Story So Far? The last festival on the Riverfront really went out with a bang. We got to see so many new faces that are now blowing up the charts. We were there and we will be there next year prepared and ready to party like there Covid wasn’t a thing. There were so many moments that we can’t help but look back at those memories. We would love to hear from you if you went to the 2019 show, what was your favorite moment?
In the meantime, here some of our favorite moments from that year, here is to next year!
Stay safe, get vaccinated, and of course get ready for next year!
