#newmusicalert If I don't have you from Banners out now!

Liverpool-based BANNERS, fronted by Michael Nelson, whose music has nearly 1.5 Billion global streams, has released a brand-new track available today via Island Records. With “If I Didn’t Have You” Nelson delivers an anthem for anyone who’s failed to see what’s right in front of them or realized too late the value of someone they love. The song’s captivating build and glorious, polished orchestral production, supports Nelson’s refined vocals for a cinematic listen. The track is the first new song from BANNERS’ upcoming EP due this spring.

“This pandemic should serve as a reminder of what we are all capable of individually and as a collective. We've all looked after one another, kept each other going. It's shown me what's important and what isn't. The things that I could live without and the things I truly need that maybe I didn't appreciate properly. The people, the hugs, the kisses. The people.” Of the track, Nelson states

“If I Didn’t Have You” follows break-out hit, “Someone to You,” which has garnered close to a Billion streams, and hundreds of thousands of TikTok videos. The song is still growing at Hot AC (currently top 15), and has been used in many high profile synchs including a feature in the movie After, the trailer for Love, Victor, a T-Mobile commercial and dozens of television synchs. BANNERS’ 2019 debut album, WHERE THE SHADOW ENDS also gave us stand out track, “Got It In You” which went viral after it was featured on two ABC television dramas, Grey’s Anatomy and The Good Doctor.

ABOUT BANNERS:

Banners’ songs have an anthemic, ecclesiastical quality. They’re haunting and inspiring, effervescent, and relatable. In the space between piano chords, sweeping beats, and orchestral guitar, an awakening happens. As if stirring to life, the music of BANNERS ascends towards steeple-size heights lifted by front-man Michael Nelson’s dynamic delivery and exquisite songcraft as well as the robust presence and impressive instrumental chops of his band. Since emerging in 2015, BANNERS has quietly carved out a place within the zeitgeist, clocking nearly 1.5 Billion total streams while stand out track “Some One To You” took the world by storm.
