We check out Johnny Orlando Livestream Show

We caught up with Johnny Orlando on our first of many installments of Livestream coverage. He has been blowing up the social media wave with song after song appearing in many Tiktok Trends, It’s kind of hard not to hear his music. We got the opportunity to catch his first Livestream concert last night. In promotion with his latest sophomore ep “It’s Never Really Over” which dropped back in late October, Johnny performed at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto but the fans got to see it through Moment House. Speaking of first for us, it was also Johnny’s first time doing a Livestream event as well. Creating a more intimate event in this digital world we are currently living in at this time.

The live stream was very intimate as if the fans were watching a stripped-down version of what could have been a grand performance. You could tell he would be a riot on stage with a crowd as he acts like they are right there at the Danforth Music Hall. Still making the most of the situation, watching the live stream you really couldn’t help dancing along to with him in the comfort of our own home. Playing a combination of both of his albums, it was a nice range of emotions and breaks with happier toons. We got the chance to hear Adelaide (Feature video up on this page) which has yet to be heard live for this live stream. No word if this song was performed on the other live stream shows but we like to assume it was.

Our experience did have a few technical glitches with the internet connection but from the chat line, it was smooth sailing. Speaking about the chat, with Moment house, you could see what everyone else had to say throughout the show which was kinda refreshing to see. Yeah, you wouldn’t hear these opinions in real life but it’s the closes to interacting with fellow fans. The page offers a “collectible” lanyard you could print out and rock out like a backstage pass. There were two other options to the lives steam, a hoodie with purchase ($40) and a Meet and Greet option which was sold out way before we got the chance to snag a pair.
